The Mission Statement of the Pre-Pharmacy Honour Society is "to aid students interested in pharmacy to understand what to expect on this career path and how to obtain the end goal of becoming a pharmacist." To this end, we will provide many opportunities to understand what to expect in Pharmacy, fulfill the requirements of Pharmacy School, network with the Deans and other Pharmacy School members, volunteer in a way that builds a solid foundation for what to expect in Pharmacy, and get to know other students who are just like you!
To become a member, you must attend George Mason University and maintain a Grade Point Average of at least 2.5. To maintain membership, you must continue to maintain your grades, pay the due for being a member per semester, and attend the majority of our meetings. If you graduate from George Mason University, but are still involved in Pharmacy (i.e. attending Pharmacy School or practicing as a Pharmacist), then you would be considered an Honorary Member.
